A sales plan is a clear strategy and activity planner that sets out your Single Sales Objective (SSO), the data you will measure to know if your sales activity has been successful or not, your sales target list and your channel and activity plans.

Your sales plan document should be used in your business every single day. It is a living and breathing document.

Believe it or not, we are all in sales and what I mean by that is, you are your business, so whether you are doing the selling or not, you need to have your sales plan completed so you know how you’ll make your revenue target by quarter and by the full year.
